problem with laptop’s cd/dvd burner drive?

hi i have a fujitsu siemens laptop running microsoft windows vista,
after the cd drive dissapeared from the system i downloaded a driver from the web so it is now in my computer again but still wont load up disks,

Take it to a pc shop.
