Video Driver Update – How to Upgrade Video / Display Card Driver In Minutes

A lot of people want to update the drivers for your video card, but few do it correctly. This article guides to give driver update video card easily. These guidelines also apply all drivers.

First, check your graphics card model, manufacturer, and Windows operating system. Secondly, download the driver latest from the official website of the manufacturer of your computer. Finally, install the driver on your computer. It seems very simple, but very few people do it correctly.

Check your video card model

1) Open Device Manager.

Right click on My Computer and select Properties. This opens the Properties window and click the Hardware tab. Click Device Manager. The Device Manager will appear.

2) Verify the model of video card.

Click the video card. You can see the same model. Keep in mind or write it.

Download controller.

Go to the manufacturer's website, find the latest driver for your video card and Windows operating system. Drivers for the same device differ from one operating system to another. If you are using Vista, do not want to download the one for Windows XP.

Install the latest driver

After the download is complete, double click the EXE file and run it. Then follow the guide and complete installation. The process can be different due to different video card manufacturers. The process of installing the ATI driver is different from NVIDIA. After installation, the latest driver version will automatically replace the old. Then restart the computer.

This would not only be used for video / Controller card, but also applicable to other drivers as sound card, motherboard, scanner, printer, hard drive and so on. They are slightly different from each other.
